This edition of Namur will be the third under the name “Green Dog Show” after two events held in Libramont. And as all the press articles show since 2014, public and breeders have attempt since the first Green Dog Show held in Libramont. An initiative that had, moreover, delighted many fans of canine beauty contests.
Finding thus traces of the old canine exhibition created several decades ago by the Union Canine Namuroise. The founder of the Green Dog Show, Luc Detry, judge and specialist-breeder for 30 years, was also a member of the pioneers of the exhibition in Namur.
A canine exhibition is above all an act of love and faith in the canine species. International competition of beauty, the Green Dog Show makes it possible to obtain Certificates of Aptitude to the National Championship (CAC) and international (CACIB). 18 Judges, recognized experts of the breeds present at the Green Dog Show will issue official titles and awards.
The occasion is and will also be given this year, as always at the Green Dog Show, to visitors who do not compete in prices and competitions to take their dog with them in order to obtain an informed expertise on their pet.
The public – enlightened or amateur – who attends judgments and the ring of honor will discover judges and specialists throughout the final competition. Likewise, throughout the duration of the Green Dog Show the public can benefit from contacts with exhibitors and specialists of breeds present in the association village.
